Preparing "The Amazing Race" Message

I'm working on my first message for the summer series and already Satan has been coming at me hard.
Jasilyn, who is very healthy, was sick Sunday night and went to bed with a high fever. Misty and I sat up half the night checking on her.
Monday we got unexpected financial burdens that we just had to go right to the Lord over. There was just no way we could handle it on our own and we know that God doesn't want us to handle it on our own.
Last night Noah was sick. Same high fever. Exhausted. So I sat up with him, checking on him.
It would be very easy to just focus on these bad things but mixed in with it all were some great things. Sunday was an awesome day at church and an amazing day with family.
Monday was a great day at work and we were able to rise above financial worries to enjoy some wonderful family time together that evening.
Yesterday the Lord allowed things to work out in such a way that we were blessed with a newer vehicle, which will allow more space for the best news of the week: our fourth child is on the way!
So, as I work on this first message about following the Lord, its not coincidental that I've been tested on just about every point that I am studying.
Instead of making we worry, its making me excited about what Jesus is doing!
